Carolyn and Janice Wilbourn are Sister International Fashion Designers of Wilbourn Sisters Designs, Inc. They design and manufacture "Designs to Soothe the Soul" for their premier fashion company. The sisters are two of seven sisters from Jackson, Tennessee. They learned their skills and talents from their Queen Mother "Elizabeth" She taught her daughters to sew, to be creative and entrepreneurs at a very young age. The sisters market and sell their own line all over the world. The family has been in business for over 50 years. The sisters will share fun short stories in their book growing up in the sewing family.
Wilbourn Sisters Designs are exclusive original fashions for women of all nationalities, designed to fit all sizes. The fashions range from soft, flowing ensembles in Jersey Knits, Linens, Cottons, Chiffons, Rayon, Silks and Tapestry for the summer and in the fall and winter Jersey knits, Rayons, Sparkle Evening Knit Jerseys, Leathers, Fur, Denim, Faux Fur, Fleece and Wool will be used. Specializing in designing for all occasions including: Weddings, Cruises, Fancy Parties and Balls, especially Red Carpet Affairs, Everyday wear and of course, Swimwear.
The Sisters design for many celebrities such as Marla Gibbs, Ruby Dee, Dr. Barbara King, Susan Taylor, Lisa Nichols, Rickie Byers Beckwith, Nee Leeks, Kim Burrell, Iyanla Vanzant, Dr. Johnetta Cole, Congress Woman Corrine Brown, Congress Woman Maxine Waters, Judge Hatchett and Judge Mabelline to name a few. But of course, the clothing are for Every Woman.
